I’m starting a campaign called “It Gets Better” for those times when you put a post-rock song in the car or somewhere social like that, and your friends who don’t listen to post-rock get bored and complain that “it’s too quiet” or “they don’t even have a singer” before the climax even comes in, so you have to keep telling them things like “no, I’m telling you man, just wait, it gets better”. As fans of independent music, we desperately need to spread awareness that our friends just have to like shut up for a second dude, like this is fuckin Sigur Ros, stop sipping on that cherry limeade so loud for a second dude, the good part’s coming up. So I just have to check if www.itgetsbetter.org is taken and then we can get this show on the road.
